Managed tier service
Connect Outlet Pricer to your POS.
The pricing decision happens in Outlet Pricer. The price that rings up at the register lives in your point-of-sale system. When those two do not talk, somebody bridges the gap by hand, item by item, and every keystroke in that bridge is a chance to introduce a price nobody intended.
A POS connector closes that gap. A price saved at the station updates the item in your POS. Inventory added in your POS arrives in Outlet Pricer waiting to be priced. The decision stays in one place and the number moves on its own.
This is custom implementation work, not a switch you flip. Read on for exactly what that means.
Where this stands today: no connector is prebuilt. The first Managed customer who needs a given POS gets that connector built as part of their onboarding, and customers on the same POS afterward reuse it. What your POS allows depends on what it opens up, so we scope it with you before you sign anything.
How it works
Initial sync at implementation
We bring your inventory and current prices across in one pass, so Outlet Pricer starts from what your POS already knows rather than from an empty catalog.
Ongoing sync in both directions
After that, a price saved in Outlet Pricer updates the item in your POS, and new inventory added in your POS shows up in Outlet Pricer ready to price.
Real-time or scheduled
Which one depends on your POS. Some expose live APIs and can update within seconds; others support scheduled exchanges. We tell you which yours supports before any work starts.
Part of Managed implementation
The connector is built during onboarding and covered by your implementation fee. We scope it with you first, so you know what your POS allows before you commit.
Platforms
These are the systems that come up most often in outlet operations, and the ones we are ready to scope first:
- Revel
- Square
- Toast
- Clover
Running something else? That is a normal answer in this industry, and it is not a problem. Tell us what you use and we will look at what it exposes. The work is the same either way: we build the connector for your system during implementation.
Who this is for
Operations on the Managed plan, where someone is currently re-entering prices between two systems. The more items that move through your door each week, the more that duplicate work costs, and the more often a typo becomes a margin problem you find out about at the register.
Self-Service does not include POS integration. It is implementation work with your systems, which is exactly what the Managed plan and its implementation fee cover.
Tell us what POS you run.
Bring it to a demo and we will tell you what an integration would involve, including whether your system supports it and what it would take.
